5. AS 1121 - Foundation of the Air Force of the United States

This course will introduce students to aircraft in the US Air Force and Air Force ROTC. Students will learn about the overall mission of the organization, aircraft they use, and customs of the US Army. Students will also have an opportunity to visit some of their stations.

6. CRCJ 2340 - Criminal Investigation

In this course, students will learn about the various aspects of the criminal justice system. Students will learn the processes of investigation, as well as the theories and history of criminology. Other topics to be discussed include the collection and analyzation of evidence, conforming courses, and crime scenes.

7. COMM 1300 - Introduction to Communication

What is communication and what is its overall impact on the world we live in? This course will take students through the basic fundamentals of communication. Topics to be discussed include the printing press, photos, electronic and digital media, and technology.

8. DNCE 1300 - Dance Appreciation

This course is designed for students to develop and understanding ad appreciation of the world of dance. Students will have a chance to discuss and watch various dance performances, share their own experiences, and learn the various styles and terminology used in the past and the present.

9. GEOL 1340 - Weather and Climate

In this course, students will examine how weather and climate has impacted planet Earth in the past, present, and how it will affect the world in the future.  Topics to be discussed include the atmospheric chemistry of the air, pollution, tornadoes, hurricanes, wind, and temperature.

10. MUSI 1303 - History and Appreciation of Hip-Hop and R&B Music

HIp-hop and R&B music is one of the most popular genres around the world today. This course will examine the history of each musical genre and compare them to others. Students will also learn how to apply terms learned into a global and social context as well. These classes are designed to help students take a break from their hectic schedules. The majority of coursework will be done in class. Each of these classes offer students the chance to boost their GPAs easily.
